APPOINTMENTS

General. Please call to schedule an appointment at Richard Joseph SalonSpa for any salon or spa service.

Spa. In order to preserve everyone’s schedule, all spa services begin and end at the appointed time. We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare for your service. If you arrive late, you deprive yourself of sacred moments in the spa. Please alert us if you are running late.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Salon. For all salon services, we ask for a credit card number to hold your reservation. We require at least 24-hours notice to cancel or reschedule any salon appointment [except for Yuko System Patented REPAIR Hair Straightening & Restoring (Thermal Reconditioning) and Great Lengths extensions discussed below]. If you need to cancel or reschedule your salon appointment with less than 24-hours notice (except for Thermal Reconditioning Treatments discussed below), 50% of the full service fee will be charged to your credit card.

Thermal Reconditioning Treatments and Great Lengths must be prepaid at the time we schedule your appointment. Prepayment amounts are non-refundable. We require at least 48-hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment for this service. If you give us at least 48-hours notice, we will be happy to either reschedule the appointment or you may cancel it and use the prepayment amount as a SalonSpa credit. Unfortunately, if you do not give us at least 48-hours notice, your appointment cannot be rescheduled and you cannot cancel the appointment and use the prepayment amount as a SalonSpa credit.

Spa. For all spa services, we ask for a credit card number to hold your reservation. We require at least 48-hours notice (72 hours for groups of three or more) to cancel or reschedule any spa appointment. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your spa appointment in less than 48 hours (72 hours for groups of three or more), a charge for the full appointment service fee will be billed to your credit card.

General. ALL PRODUCT SALES ARE FINAL. All prices are subject to change without notice.

ATMOSPHERE

Salon. Children of any age are welcome in the salon if they have an appointment for services.

Spa. Richard Joseph spa is a peaceful, meditative place. In order to preserve a tranquil, relaxing spa environment, we ask that you respect the privacy of other guests and their wish to experience personal indulgence and renewal. Please turn off all cell phones when you enter the spa. Children 13 or older are welcome in the spa if they have an appointment for services.

SALONSPA CAFÉ

A complimentary light, healthy and delicious cuisine changes daily to offer you the finest and freshest meals. A vegetarian selection is available upon request.

GIFT CARDS

Treat a friend, colleague or loved one to a memorable experience at Richard Joseph SalonSpa by giving them a gift card. Gifts Cards are available in any denomination and are the perfect gift for any occasion. Gift cards should be protected and treated as cash (Richard Joseph SalonSpa is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards). Cards are redeemable for services and merchandise only and may not be exchanged for cash. Gift cards are non-refundable/non-transferable and no change will be given as unused value remains on our guest’s SalonSpa account. All gift cards have an expiration date and guests must bring the original card with them to their appointment. Gratuities may be included in any gift card purchase. If you need assistance, please ask one of our guest coordinators.

COMMUNICATION

Spa. Subtle or strong? Relaxing or therapeutic? Our spa therapists are trained to deliver the personalized attention and experience you desire. To help you get the most out of your time at the spa, be sure to communicate any challenges, concerns, special needs, or questions to your spa therapist so that he/she can assure your spa experience is a positive one. You will be provided with slippers and a comfortable robe to wear between spa treatments. During your spa treatment, you will be draped to protect your privacy. For maximum enjoyment, benefit and result, surrender to the spa experience. You are not obligated to make conversation.

During your visit to the spa, you will be given a place to store your belongings; however, we recommend that you leave your valuables at home. Richard Joseph SalonSpa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

CREDIT CARDS

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

OTHER

Spa. Please do not drink alcohol before your spa appointment. It can be damaging to your skin if your are having a facial or other skin treatment, and could even lead to serious dehydration depending on the service you are having.
